I am the On-Site Owner of The Goddard School and although it will be a new school, I bring over 15 years of ownership experience in Early Childhood Education. Del, my husband of 30+ years, and I are the proud Franchise Owners of four other prominent Goddard Schools in Metro Nashville. In addition to experience, I have an MBA from The Wharton School of Business (Univ of Penn) and an MPP from The University of Michigan. Most importantly, we have a heart for children and truly value the importance of high-quality education. I hold an Associate's Degree in Social Work and have over 10 years of experience working with children. While I've worked with various age groups, I especially enjoy caring for infants and toddlers, helping them grow through nurturing care and early learning experiences. In my free time, I love trying new restaurants with my husband and doing fun activities with our two children. My favorite children's book is Dragons Love Tacos. It is known for it's humor and quirky illustrations.
I have a bachelor's degree in communication and am excited to be starting my journey in the field of early childhood development. While I am newer to this field, I'm passionate about learning and growing alongside the children I care for and creating meaningful connections long the way. In my free time, I enjoy grabbing coffee from Dutch Bros, organizing spaces, and relaxing whenever I can. I have 9 years of experience working with children ranging from infants to Pre-K, as well as 1st and 2ns grade.
